Why This Role Is Important to Us

This role will be key in weighing solutions that meet the short-term and long-term goals of our sales and account teams. Supporting this group requires a clear understanding of how departmental goals will be achieved and brainstorming how to best utilize Spot’s resources in getting there. If performed well, the product manager will have created new ways for Spot to go-to-market with partners and achieve best-in-class client satisfaction.


  • Provide strategic insight into the product roadmap, recommending features and optimizations
  • Define and maintain the product roadmap, including prioritization of engineering efforts
  • Ensure Sprints are delivered with prioritized features and corresponding justification
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and requirements gathering
  • Recommend and run A/B testing where appropriate
  • Develop strategies to include reporting insight and analytics, where appropriate, to support and drive Marketing and operational needs
  • Ensure Platform meets regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Provide comprehensive requirements and features aligned with partnership and sales needs
  • Work collaboratively with the Partnership team to define the strategy and scope of partnership launches
  • Ensure partnership implementations meet expectations both internally and externally with highly organized documentation
  • Create, maintain, and communicate development schedule(s)
  • Own quality of Platform end-to-end

Who You Are

  • You have two or more years of experience as a Product Manager
  • Defining and launching products is your jam
  • Influencing cross-functional teams without formal authority is easy for you
  • Design and UX sensibilities are a priority in your work
  • Technology excites you, old archaic systems are not what you need to thrive

A Typical Day Looks Like

  • Representing Product at a dev scrum and removing any blockers that may arise
  • Define the most effective launch strategy for a newly signed partner
  • Workshop needed enhancements to the Spot API to enable tighter integrations
  • Weigh and present tradeoffs of various solutions to help the account team service clients
